Dutch Tjalk built in 1908 of riveted iron construction. Originally a sea-going sailing barge. It was motorized in 1915. Decommissioned in the mid 1950's. The owner/captain converted it to live-abroad for himself. Two owners later it is fully converted into a modern luxury home. The present owners are aboard the last 12 years and are downsizing on age grounds only.
