Dutch Tjalk built in 1908 of riveted iron construction. Originally a sea-going sailing barge. It was motorized in 1915. Decommissioned in the mid 1950's. The owner/captain converted it to live-abroad for himself. Two owners later it is fully converted into a modern luxury home. The present owners are aboard the last 12 years and are downsizing on age grounds only. Argo has been cruised on the beautiful River Shanon and its many lakes for the last 35 years where the harbours are relatively empty and charges minimal. The sale will include test drive, ships technical systems, operating and maintenance instruction and boat handling familiarity if required.
